Abu Dhabi: Ferrari's Fernando Alonso insists his chances of winning the F1 championship aren't over yet, despite Red Bull's Vettel winning the past four races and driving a faster car.
"We believe and trust in our job and our team. We showed many times that we don't give up and we will fight until the end," said the Spaniard, who is 13 points behind Sebastian Vettel.
Ferrari worked through the night at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to help Alonso in his title battle with Vettel.
The Italian team had broken a curfew for the first time this season, using up one of their four allowed exceptions, Formula One technical delegate Jo Bauer was quoted as saying.
The Ferrari mechanics had been "within the confines of the circuit during the six-hour period which commenced at 0400", he added.
Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is the 18th round of the 20 race season.
The race is the only one on the calendar to run from daylight into the night.
